Montevideo Residence | DCA Residential projects

The Montevideo warehouses in Antwerp are being given a new look. They were built in 1895 and named after the capital of Uruguay, which traded overseas with Antwerp. Spices and foodstuffs have been stored there over the years. They had a longer shelf life because the typical shed roofs were oriented to the north. Now these sawtooth roofs are being renovated according to their historical concept to house offices and shops in the old warehouses. "The Montevideo Residence project has 12 luxury apartments and 4 penthouses with private swimming pools and a fantastic view of the Scheldt. The monumental warehouses of the old harbor are being restored to their former glory. They are preserving the grandeur, but making way for new businesses which contribute even more to the appeal of 't Eilandje. In addition to 12,000 m2 for offices, co-working and commercial spaces, we are also building one supermarket and two catering establishments, including 368 underground parking spaces.
